Grade5 English UOI class’s final project!
The English UOI English class students have been busy working on their final project of the year, giving a persuasive speech with their team member(s) in front of the class with their chosen topic!
They had two choices to choose from:
- Is there a limit to how we should use AI?
- Should there be an age restriction on children’s access to the internet?
After selecting their topic, they decided which side they are on (yes or no) and explored 2 or 3 key ideas to support their argument.
Over the past month, they have put in a lot of effort and carefully planned, building their arguments using clear explanations, strong reasoning and evidence they found through research. Every member had their own role in the team and they supported each other to create engaging presentation materials. They also used their Research Skills to deepen their understanding of the topic.
Through lots of discussions and collaboration, G5 students strengthened their Communication Skills by making strong connections between each other’s ideas.
We can’t wait to see everyone’s Final Presentation!
