we started a new unit on the Amazon Rainforest
Hello! This is Komola from the English Department.
I’m excited to share an update on what we’ve been doing in the 5D English class. This week, we started a new unit on the Amazon Rainforest. Our recent class began with vocabulary, focusing on rainforest animals. After that, the students worked on a listening activity where they carefully picked out essential information and answered questions in the workbook.
One of the most exciting parts of the class was when we played an interactive board game. The students answered the question, “What is this?” and some brave students wrote their answers on the board. Following this, we had a super fun Kahoot quiz. The quiz was designed specifically for this unit, and the students had the opportunity to learn new vocabulary just by playing the game.
The students really enjoyed the class, and as their English teacher, I’m excited to see how much more they will learn as we continue exploring this unit.
